Two-factor authentication / Https question

Is there a way to have a Two-factor authentication on the main login dialog ? Also is possibile to have the Login Dialog to switch from http to https ?

no and... no?

 

What you could do (if you have a small server like a Rasb-pi) is get a reverse proxy that could do 2 factor auth and tls for you (and then forward to plain http). That way you have even more security. but it's a bit more work.

 

{web client} <-> TLS / 2factor <-> {rasb-pi running nginx} <-> http <-> {fibaro appliance}

or put a vpn between the local lan of HC2 and the remote device, gives you encryption and a second factor...

It is 2019 and HTTPS should be standard
