Sony TV VD & Plugin

Hopefully someone can help me.

 

I have a Sony Bravia and i use the Sony plugin to control the TV no problem.  However, i want to be able to add some of the buttons into a scene to be able to add more automation.

 

I have tried creating a VD with a button, and i add in the string fibaro:call(874, "turnOff").  I have also tried numerous other commands by right clicking and bringing up the list of commands from the Sony plugin.  However none of them work.  It is strange since when i do the same process with the pioneer plugin with my amp that VD works no problem..

 

Anyone have any ideas?  THanks

i have 3 sony tv, and the plugin is not working with any of these....

nothing works?  not even just changing channel..........volume etc?

 

mine does that, but i cannot get it to work using a scene or VD.

With LUA it seems something might work. Atleast getting values

But basicly, use Global Cache and virtual device with IR commands. Fibaro has to alllow us to fully work with their plugins, that are used fo control TVs. It would be one step closer to Control4. I think they have it already as feature request.
