Hi , I'm trying to make a simple scene with fibaro smoke I'll put the screenshot .

The scene is very simple but the smoke sensor is not working , any ideas what parameters i need to change? for cigaret smoke?

The room is like 6x6x2.5 . I tried to change sensibility parameter but is the same....I need to stay with the cigaret like 10-15 cm under the sensor for having a response. I have the last smoke sensor with z-waze plus and another one with z-wave .

Do you have a scene like this running?

Thanks.

Do you really want it to be triggered anytime there is as much smoke as cigarette can make?

just imagine, that your wife will want to do nice dinner for you and she will light the candles. With this much sensitivity the alarm would be trigered with the match.

You need a bit more smoke for it, other wise you would get false alarms a lot.

I'm agree with you but with sensibility on 2 ...I need a smoke bomb in the room for making that scene work?

Another parameter for recognising softer smoke? Or that's the one.

I was thinking that I can use some informations in the black box for a better scene.

    Sorry for my bad english.

With a cigaret you can't test a smoke sensor on his behavior or know how good the sensor is. Cigaret smoke is different smoke then when real fire is detected.

For professional use there are official smoke test gas for these kind situations..    or other methodes to test a smoke sensor.
