Hi Guys , just a couple of questions :

 

Using LUA scene , is there any way to change or preset the dimming level without turn on the light?

and again , is there any way to unterstand if the light has been turned ON by S1 , S2 switch

or by scene automation?

1) Not exactly sure, but I think not. Anyway, when would that feature be used? You may as well turn it on at the spcifified level when you turn it on.

 

 

2) No. But, you can make sure that scenes mark that it was turned on by a scene in a variable. Variables also keep information on when they were changed, so if the time points of the ON event and the variable change is the same, then you know that it was turned on by a scene (and not by a physical switch or via the app).

Presetting can't be done, the next best thing is to (from the off state) directly use "setValue"

(If you want to set a preset value, you can also try to schedule lua code to run when nobody is looking to set the value and directly afterwards, turn it off.
