1. Set as main temp sensor for room

2. create zone and add room to zone (with the pencil behind the zone name)

3. set a schedule in the heating panel

that should be it

Ok, done, but what about the heatit controller? How does the heating panel knows which device to turn on/off for heating ?

If you go to rooms, edit the room where the thermostat is in you should see the heat-it as main temp sensor, but also as main thermostat. In the heating panel you have linked the heating panel to the room (by the pencil) and the heating panel will look at the main temp sensor of the room to see if it needs heating or not and will set the setpoint of the main thermostat of that room.
