Question

Hi,
Recently I added non z-wave devices to my system, in this case Plugwise devices. I read the device values from the stretch (also plugwise) using its API.
So far this worked out fine and I can retrieve the power consumption into a variable and make it visible in the VD. I would however like to report the power consumption on the main screen in the same fashion as z-wave devices (green and blue status in to bottom of the device)
In addition to this I would like to transfer these values into the power consumption panel.
Would this be possible? is there some sort of system variable where these values are stored? database?
Further more I was wondering since I have 20 of these devices to use a scene rather than VD's when reading out values, I already noticed the stretch box couldn't cope with the HC2 requests, so I reduced the update sequence to every 3 minutes which seems to be better.
So right now contemplating if I need to transfer to data retrieval to a scene and parse the label data to the vd's. I guess Ideally I would read all the device from the stretch than have the scene create al the required vd's. This is however one bridge to far for my recent acquired lua skills.
I someone has similar experience doing a large volume of api calls what is a best approach.
The last thing I could not resolve is the fact I want to use the status as a tri state mode. The VD however only knows on/off icons so I need to change the icon into offline/not found, I have seen how this is done but have no clue how to find the ID of the icon.
I hope there are some die hard HC2 owners who might be able to help or have some advice here.
Thx in advance
