Swap "on-off" on double relay switch

Hi

I managed to put a double switch inside my veeeeery old alarm system, in this way I can arm/disarm it from fibaro.

The only issue I have is that when the alarm is armed the button is displayed as OFF and when it is disarmed is ON.

I was wondering if there is way to change this by either some setting or code.

I don't really like the option of opening the alarm box and rewire, the tamper goes on and my neighbors have already been disturbed enough in the last days

Hi Luca,

 

One option may be to add custom icons to the switch and invert what they would normally/logically represent

- For relay switch on state (when the alarm is disarmed) select an icon that shows the alarm is disarmed

- For relay switch off state (when the alarm is armed) select an icon that shows the alarm is armed

 

Second option -

Depending on the type of switch, there may be a parameter to flip the states

Done!! Now I have the right Icons, I did also a VD where I can use button ON to switch on and OFF to switch off.

Didn't dare yday nite to play with the setting to change the original on-off buttons, I'll try this afternoon
