Yes indeed, Fibaro need to keep a close eye on the competition there are a lot of alternatives beginning to show some promise.

Currently I think Fibaro have the hardware advantage, but that isn't worth a lot if they fail to capitalise on it....

Give home automation 1-2 years and I am betting many competitors will surpass. I am hoping Apple get off their feet and have some core focus on HomeKit. Give it 1-2 years, and if rumour mill is right, the new 'Home' app will be the next big thing to pull all 3rd parties hardware (that supports HomeKit) together and integrate into its iOS core functions like GPS, iBeacon (which allows decent geo-fencing), scheduling, workflow logic, Siri... Once that happens, and if there is a manufacturer that provides a decent and reliable middleware product to bridge between HomeKit and Z-wave, I will jump ship...
