ZXT-120 and IR

Hello,

Is it possible to send a IR-code true the ZXT-120 just like the Itach

Not quite sure if I have correctly interpret your question correctly.

ZXT-120 is hardcoded with IR-code database (hence every IR-code database change, they need to release a new hardware revision of it). It may have learning capabilities but appears to be specific to a set of temperature range.

    so i thought. but thanks.

    i want to set the stand of the swing eg up down left right.

    but then i have to code this on a temp value.

    i hoped that it can be done like the Itach tru a string.

    Yes, the addition swing mode (only some models of aircon have that) will need to be coded into the temperature value so that ZXT-120 sends them together. I believe this is what Remotec did for those air conditioners which they have pre-programmed in. The main challenge is how to identify which aircon model should use which particular IR code.

     

    Try email to them with your aircon model and remote controller model. You may hear from them recommending which IR code(s) to use best or test with. I know I got a response back with 1 main and 2 alternatives to try with.
