Ding dong function

Hi!

 

Any recommendation to get a sound function for possible events. like ding-dong when doors opens, upon water alarm etc.

 

I got a stand-alone (Siemens SPC) home alarm system but would like to cover home automation alerts too.

 

eg. When the children opens the main door id like to get a ding-dong alert. If other doors are opened id like to get a different sound.

 

I have been looking at  D-link DCH-Z510. Can this be used for this purpose? Trigger different sounds upon different events.

Good interaction with HC2? I can control it using some piece of LUA code to set the volume and sound scheme?

I'm using Pushover for this. I have a tablet in the hall on max sound. It is possible to set different sounds for different types of push notifications.

you can use Aeotec DSD31 siren, with small VD to control sound. My VD is only selection sound, but you can as well select the volume. Note: give the siren at least 3 seconds before sending "off".
