My HC2 ceased functioning. Help

All of a sudden my HC2 ceased functioning.

It looks like does not communicate with the network.

It displays only Power and LAN led (the two rightmost).

When I try a reboot, it rolls the LED sequence as usual and when almost finished, it displays the spanner LED (the leftmost) for about 3 seconds. After that it lit the power LED, then after 2 or 3 seconds it lit the network LED and after another 3 seconds the www LED. The www LED stays lit only for a few seconds (10 to 15), and then goes off.

I tried so far:

• change the patch cord
• use another switch/router input
• reboot for several times
• disconnect totally from power for more than 10 minutes and reconnect again (reboot)

After all that I still cannot connect/login.

It runs v 4.090

Any ideas?

This seems like there is something broken insside, most likely its chip for networking or at very least its software. i am sorry you may have to return this device.

 

however i have tried longer (i suggest 15-30 minutes) breaks from being in power so i woudl first try to power it down for longer period of time just incase.
