How to restore backup after all devices disappeared

Question

Posted

I can not figure out how to restore a backup in the Backup and Restore tab. There is nothing to click on and I believe I had links to click before.

I want to restore because I finally thought to fix all my no longer working scenes after upgrading to 4.082 a good wile a go. I have not logged in for some time now, but I did an initial quick check to see what was wrong with the scenes after upgrade but I didn't have enough time so I left it as it was. So I know the devices was still there after upgrade.

I find it disconcerting that all devices are gone. Even going for a beta should not do this!

I'm afraid to upgrade anything before a restore or maybe calling Fibaro support.

the best would be to run full recovery and restore backups after all (so do recovery, update to latest version, then restore backup). When asked during recovery for "delete all zwave devices" click on yes, because you wish to restore them from backup.

Thanks, have a feeling I'll be doing a recovery. Anyways I'll be calling support to morrow to hear what they say. Maybe they want some logs to investigate what happened.

After a few months with not logging on to the HC2 I automatically logged in to a user that have no devices! When logging in to admin all is OK.

Hmm... I have had a too good vacation obviously.
