Hi!

How to make a complete blank restore? If id like to start all over again... Risks?

As blank as it can be done (factory Firmware):

pull power plug out of the socket (or HC2 i you can acess it there easily) hold + button on back of your unit and plug it back in, wait for lights to start lighting up from left to right. once it settles on usuall diodes conect directly to its IP and choose "factory restore".

Known risks:

no scenes will work directly after restore tho if you patch back up to verssion where they were included they will ressume working.

sometimes you may have to pair all of your devicess again (i dont know what the hell i was doing there but it happened to me few times tho not most times).

HIGH risk of all those removed devicess and lost partiall codes that forgotten to be deleted usuall way will ALL vanish and your HC2 will actually work noticably faster (for a time)

EDIT :

officiall legall formulation regarding the issues (you get this on anny update this oen i tore from my last HC update its same thing for downgrading i think)

The Producer informs that the process of software update may result in consequences as follows:

1) necessity of re-introduction of the group associations in the device where the software update took place and/or

2) necessity of reconfiguration of the device where the software update took place.

Failure to perform the operations as above indicated may result in non-functioning or malfunctioning of the device where the software update took place.

So best deal is to run the factory restore and then manually include and create all VD, scenes from scratch.

Since I only have a few vd and run all the rest using GEA I guess it can be manageable.

Depends how many devices you have and where they are located. It did just that about 3 months ago and it took me a week

Dose not HC2 support saving your VDs to HDD/Flash drive?

that could kinda help you a bit if it dose .)
