phillips hue devices not working

Question

Posted

after 4.09 upgrade, can now connect to hue bridge and find lights - all good

light appears in room view once assigned with its name - all good

light appears in rooms, devices views - ok, and can be controlled as expected

however light does NOT show up in

- dashboard view under actors

- device list when attempting to select in script view/construction (magic or block mode)

... is this expected behaviour?

i cannot add this light into a magic or block script to control it (eg on or off)

Unfortunately virtual devices and plugins are not selectable for block and magic scenes already for some time. If you have HC2 then you can use them in LUA scenes. This problem is already discussed in other threads of this forum.

I must correct myself! I tested and it is possible to add HUE virtual device to block scenes at least on HC2 with FW 4.090, see link bellow:

For plug in I can't test because I give up on plugin for HUE and use virtual devices.
