these 8 LEDs in front, they running on separate board (independant of rest of the hardware). Probaby the intel mainboard or one of the usb faslh drives are broken. To check that, connect external monitor (hdmi, dvi or vga, depends on mainboard version) and boot HC2 - watch the output on monitor and report  back that to support. They maybe can help with that, if not, you will have to send it back to the dealer you got it from.

Try to start your HC2 without mounted Recovery Stick.

Switch off your HC2, remove the Recovery Stick and restart.

If your HC2 starts normally, then it is a problem with the Recovery Stick.

If you need to make a backup, then install the Recovery Stick again after your HC2 has started.

Then contact Fibaro support.

Third light from right is lit when there is connection to the internet so check your connections. HC doesn't have WiFi but have LAN connector to connect network cable.

Thanks, yes it is the LAN connection.

The light is off, but I can still connect with my computer using the Fibaro,s IP address, does that make sense?? If there was no LAN connection, I should not be able to connect to the Fibaro - is that right?

What IP address is configured on your HC? If it is default static IP address 192.168.81.1 with gateway address 192.168.81.1 you have to change it to the IP address that is in the same range of your router. You can check this on your router or your computer when it is connected to your home network and has access to the internet.

In most cases private range of IP addresses for home users is 192.168.0.xxx, 192.168.1.xxx, 192.168.10.xxx but can be anything between 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255, 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 and 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 so you need to check in what range is your router and also you need to check what IP addresses range is giving DHCP server which is probably setup on your router. You need to check that because if you plan to setup static address on your HC or any other device then this address must be set outside of the range of DHCP server to avoid address duplication.

For example my internet router IP address is 192.168.1.1 and DHCP server on router is set to give addresses in range from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.250. I have some other devices also set on static IP addresses and are all in range from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.50. So, my HC IP address setup is 192.168.1.10 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway address same as my router since internet router is also gateway.

Also there is DNS server IP address that must be setup. Here you have choice either to check what DNS servers are setup on your router, or computer or you can put one of google DNS servers, usually IP address 8.8.8.8

So don't be suprised if you can connect with PC to the HC if you made setup according to Advanced User Guide, but still you need to change IP address of both of them to the range of your home network to be able to connect to the other devices in your local network and internet. Since home private networks usually use subnet mask 255.255.255.0 that means that first three numbers in IP address are network prefixes and only last nuber is device (interface) indentifier which means that first three numbers MUST be same while last number MUST be different on all devices connected to one network to be able to communicate.
