Poor signal coverage

Hi all,

I have HC2 with the latest firmware and just install several Fibaro and 3rd party devices. It seems everything was perfectly working when the devices installed in the same floor but the other devices looks responded poorly in the different floors.

I have a 3-floors house where HC2 located in the separated room in 2nd floor. The overall space is around 300+ m2. The wifi connection seems alright where I can reach its signal partially in all floors of house. The devices installed are motion sensor, wall plug, smoke detector, relay switches, Yale door lock, all working during initiation with HC2 in close range.

Please advice what kind of configuration required if all devices working perfectly in all different floors.

Hello,

 

Remember that our gateway can reach up to 30m in open space environment. Of course modules work as a receiver and transmitter of the signal so that it will cover more space, but then modules should be placed in such pattern so the signal would not be interrupted. 300m² is a very large space to cover with only one gateway.
