It is not possible. Associations work only among Z-Wave devices.

Ok, thanks for quick reply. The reason I ask is that I have several Merten dual wall switces (ME5052xx) , and it seems that this switch cannot trigger scenes in HC2. I'm looking for worksrounds for this. The Merten switces are really good and would be perfect "input devices" for HC2

I have the same problem, in my case it's because i can't to multi channel associations between a ME5052xx and the blue cannel of a Fibaro RGBW dimmer.

 

I have been able to associate the ME5052xx with deviceID 1 which should be the HC itself. But I don't know if it's possible catch the events from the switch in a scene or with some other logic.

: The Merten switch shows ut in HC2 as a Remote Controller but I'm not able to use this remote to anything(as trigger) in scenes or virtual devices. Is this due to missing command classes in the switch or poor HC2-driver?

Can you post a link to the device's manual?

Do you see a template number?

Can you change the 'device kind' in advanced settings?

Look at page 37. Please note that the template in HC2 is wrong and I had to configure the device manually(see attached png).

 

Template number is 356

 

I'm not able to change any setting, except from the parameters (see attached with my correct settings for double paddle, individual buttons able to save light values of associated Devices, refered to as "retrieve/save scenes" in the manual)

The Merten double paddle switch i have is refered to as a Merten 5052x
