I have a Fibaro RGBW module controlling some led strips under my cupboards in the kitchen. So far its wired so my ipad can turn them on and off remotely but I would also like to be able to use a wall switch like you can for the dimmer modules. Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

Currently I have a supply to a transformer then the module off the transformer. I can control the transformer off and on by a switch but I would like to keep this permanently live and just switch the RGBW module on and off from a wall switch.

I hope I've explained that correctly.

Cheers.

There seems to be two sub forums labelled Fibaro modules. I've no idea which I'm meant to post in regarding this?

Hello,

The subforum you initially posted concerns updates for FIBARO Modules. The subforum to which your topic was moved concerns FIBARO Modules in general (the mother subforum is Community Support).

I would like to keep this permanently live and just switch the RGBW module on and off from a wall switch.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the sentence I quoted above? Do you mean that you want to switch RGBW on and off only (all colors)?

I want to be able to control my RGBW device with my tablet but also from a wall switch like a dimmer module. For instance my dimmer module can be controlled from my tablet but also controlled from the wall switch (toggable). My RGBW device currently can only be controlled from a tablet.

    Hello,

Yes, it is possible. Simply, check the manual of RGBW

Each input/output can be controlled by separate toggle switch, so you can connect our module to a switch similar to the one that controls your Dimmer.

use a simple bit of cable from the IN1 on the Fibaro RGBW module and to the GND on the module, and connect it to a traditional on/off wall switch.

Thanks for all the help! I shall hopefully get a chance to get it sorted over the next couple of days.

Hello. Is it possible to connect the N1 of Fibaro RGBW to the Neutral which is befor the 12V power supply instead of  GND?

No, why ? is it terminal size to fit cables? just buy larger connector as splitter

Sorry I cant think why else you would want to do this.

Mains N is not the same as your 12v GND on a electronic transformer
