Learning mode error

When i start learning mode i get this message:

 

[20:30:58] Learning mode error. Try again.
[20:30:58] Adding devices complete

 

There is also no pop-up with a countdown (like usual).

 

I already restarted the HC2 several times.

 

Does someone know how to solve this problem?

 

I'm using 4.090 Beta.

did you tested with button on HC2 as well ? different browser? cache cleared (ctrl+F5)? if all these thing didn't help, it might be other device with bad battery (blocking zwave network), but that can be only tested by the Fibaro support.

I tried it with 2 browsers (Google Chrome and Internet Explorer), i cleared the cache and i tried it with the Fibaro app on my iPhone

Does this happen when you try to include a module or already at pressing the start including button?

It happens when i click Add on the HC2 Dashboard (to add a new device)

I got the same error in 4.091 Beta. Downgrading to 4.090 dos not resolve de issue. Now upgrading to 4.092Beta and the problem is still there.

I am able to delete devices, but there is no way to add devices.

I've been running 4.101 for a while. I deleted (excluded) a Danfoss LC12. Then, when I want to include it, I get "Learning mode error. Try again.". In fact, I no longer get a countdown window and the message appears after a few seconds, in the status window, whenever I click "add device". The 5th LED on the HC2 doesn't light up.  Reboot, shutdown, press "+" button at the back... no solution yet. If I find a one, I'll share it here

no, LC12 works with 4.101, i did just excluded one and re-included again (LC12 with FW 2.51)

Thanks for reporting this! Thanks for testing. I din't want to suggest that the LC12 has anything to do with it. I got several of those, but all where included before 4.101. They are OK, except this one didn't open the valve. Exclusion of the device was OK. It's the last thing I did before something odd happened... or maybe I was NEVER able to include a device. Now I come to think of it, I probably did not include anything on 4.101. Now, when I click "add" in the web interface, I no longer get the opportunity to add any device. I don't even have the time to push the button on the LC12. Next step: perform recovery, and upgrade to 4.101 again or contact support. Probably the first option.

- remove batteries from LC12

- reboot HC2

- remove manually LC12

- reboot HC2

now HC2 should be ok and you can try again (exclude and include again).

 

This works normally for broken devices (they need to be off, and zwave chip on HCx initialized via hard reset -> so reboot), if not, then only support can do it via ssh (remove or/and remove node)

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried all that, doesn't help. One odd thing: during all this, the "exclude" function appeared to work. The expected countdown appeared. When I pressed the middle button on the thermostat, the counting stopped, as expected. But not the include dialog! Anyway, I tried one of the "php upgrade scripts" moments ago and now I no longer have a web interface  - when there's nothing on TV or I get bored, I'll have to do a recovery. For fun and pleasure...
