rgbw controller not the promised control

I want to let everyone know that fibaro tells lies.

 

In the manual state that the inputs and outputs are configured independently. So this is a lie

 

the inputs connected to the outputs. So input 1 and output 2 etc.

 

Also i can't turn out dimmer and i can't change the icon to one without the dimmer part.

 

I get only half of what I will promise

 

So beware before u buying this product.

Sorry, if I understood you wrong, but you are saying that:

 

inputs and outputs can not work indenpendly? - they can, you can use 4 outputs as 4 separate dimmers for LED strip. I have it in my apartamnet, I have one RGBW module which controls lighting in 4 rooms, separatelly. In system I see it as a 4 dimmers, one in each room.

With the inputs that is the same, you can connect temp sensor, soil humidity sensor, co sensor... whichever 4 of them you wish and they will all work together (if you follow the manual)

 

The input is as well connected to the output, this is if you want to use it as a switch. Of corse. Again, works perfect in my setting.

You can again use it as 4 separated dimmers. You can change the icon as you wish (of corse, it is dimmer, the dimmer part should be there, if you want switch just get a relay)

 

RGBW is one of the best devices from Fibaro in my personal opinion. It has huge potencial and it can be used for incredible things. 

 

I think the problem which you are having can be described as PICNIC (Problem in chair, not in computer). My advice - if you can not set it up, just ask for advice before saying it is not possible.

 

Anyway, to give you a bit of advice, you simply need to change this thing: (check the picture)
