That is it "Z-Wave protocol type:" ?

Probably stupid question, but that type of information "Z-Wave protocol type:"  (for one or another included node) shows to us?

With another words that is different between "Z-Wave protocol type: 1" and "Z-Wave protocol type: 3" ???

Can you indicate where you see such information? Maybe a screen shot?

Are you certain you mean Z-Wave protocol 3?

i only heard about Z-Wave plus and Z-Wave protocolls, i am sure ther were manny intermitent releases that patched  up way devices comunicate but they were generally supported by all devices so it was still called Z-Wave.

generaly speaking i would assume that number is version released but yes some background information would help - what is it related to for example would help guide our thinking.

"Z-Wave protocol type" is internal information, it does display (in the log window) the zwave library info (TXT_DEVICECONFIGURATION_LIB_TYPE), so nothing special or to care about.
