Question
Guest DaveCrump
Hi,
I am pretty new to the HC2, and very new to programming it..
I have a virtual device set up on my HC2 to control a simple switch which is being run in Domoticz on a Pi2. The virtual device is sending an HTTP GET command to turn a device on or off - pretty simple.
As part of a scene, and by itself, the virtual device works fine for a week or two, and then stops working.
The target device can still be operated from within Domoticz, and also if I send the HTTP command to Domoticz from my browser. But if I try to make the device operate from within the HC2, by either running a scene or directly from the virtual device, it doesn't work.
So it would appear to be a problem with the HC2 not sending the command, after having worked fine for a couple of weeks.
If I reboot the HC2, it all works fine again.
I would welcome any suggestions as to how I can fix this - I cannot find any reason for it to stop, after working fine for a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Dave
