Can you provide some more information, what do you want to achieve? What do you mean with TCP server? Can you give an example?

    Dear ,
we are doing a test on the virtual device usability into our lab.

we are running an application that is acting as TCP server, which open specific TCP port and wait for the connection,

our understanding is that virtual device will communicate with the virtual device IP on the specified port and sends the commands to that IP.

As explained into Fibaro documentation , virtual device is useful for integrating any external devices with HC2.

    so we did the following:

1- created virtual device and configure two buttons one "ON" and the other "OFF"

2- set the virtual device IP to my machine IP address (which can access the HC2)

3- Set the virtual device PORT to the open port into the TCP server

4- Run the TCP server that listen to the same port

5- tested the buttons but it is not connecting or sending anything to the TCP server.

I appreciate your kind advice and guidance.

You have to put some code to the buttons, like:

Please login or register to see this code.

I don't know that the On and Off command looks like for the TCP server, and is it a real TCP server or HTTP server?
