netatmo integration

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to integrate a Netatmo weather station in my HC2. It requires username an password and a clientID and clientSecret.

Reading through various posts I see that I have to create an app on

to get the ID and Secret

which seems strange. I am not the developer. the plugin is ready to use and comes from Fibaro. I expect that the developer of the Fibaro Plugin has got the client ID and Secret. But these are nowhere to be found.

 

Anyhow, who can tell me the clientID and ClientSecret for the Fibaro Netatmo plugin, or alternatively who can tell me how to create an app on the NetAtmo site to get ID and Secret myself?

Create app at dev netatmo. Details will then be listed, use them on fibaro plugin.

Just go the url you posted, give it a name (must be unique), give a description, accept the terms and conditions and click "create an app". Click the app you just created and on the page you will the needed information.

Your clientID and ClientSecret are unique for your particular device so you cant just use random ones.

You need to create an account, login and then create the app.
