I use this for sending sensor temperatures to my tablet (using tasker, zooper and autoremote).

Sure you can do the same for lightlevels ect

  • I'm talking about the sensor setting in the rooms panel. I have a DHT11 sensor running on an esp8266 which displays the temperature and humidity in HC2 as a virtual device. But it would be nice to use this virtual device as the main sensors for the room.

  • As far as I know that is not possible unfortunately.

That's my conclusion so far too. It's really a shame because otherwise we could just use

    Hi!

    Hey Fibaro!

how I can, as developer, lend a helping hand to implement this feature?

    thanks.

I'd like this feature too, I have a couple of temperature probes attached to an arduino with a mini web server programmed and the lua script is polling the device.

I'd like to set this device as a main device too.  I bought this controller as I thought it was infinitely better than the vera regarding design.  I'd hoped it was as open as they were too.

This would be very handy for me too! I have several TFA / Cresta temperature sensors linked with fibarolink. Rooms like the attic do not need expensive sensors!
