SIMPLE ALARM PANEL

Question

Posted

Hi everyone, I desperately need some help as I just cant figure this out. I am using door/window sensors and an Everspring indoor siren. I have changed the device to lighting and use the "PANIC" scene to activate the siren from the ALARM PANEL. This all works great. Can someone please instruct me on how to get the damn siren to turn off once activated. I disarm using the pin code option but it doesnt stop the siren.  Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Hi

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think you will have to add a new scene which is triggered by a change in a state of your door sensor. You would add an 'if' statement that would turn the siren off if door sensor has changed from armed to disarmed.

Let me know if you need more help with it.

You make it sound so obvious!!!! Thanks for your help I'll post back as to how it works. Seems odd that "Disarm" using the panel can't trigger a secondary event like turning off the siren.
