Third LED (globe) off

My third LED (globe led) is off but my connections to net and remote access still work... Any ideas why this would go off to indicate error but actually nothing is wrong?

- LED broken (reboot to check LEDs)

- www.google.com blocked on router or by provider (HC2 is doing "ping -c 1 www.google.com" to check internet avail.)
