Power Cuts and Dead nodes

Question

Posted

Annoyingly after a Power cut some nodes seem to go dead and won't automatically reconnect.

i.e. - An RGBW hidden because its linked with another completely stopped responding after power cut. I had to go into interface and click on the cross - now its fine.

Is there a way to get nodes to automatically reconnect? Why require manual intervention?

If I allow the setting to not show dead nodes will this stop my issue??

I am not sure if I understand correctly your last question. In the top right corner of every section you can see "Wake Up Dead Nodes In Section". Is it what you are looking for?

No I mean If I change settings Z-Wave network configuration > Uncheck 'Mark Nodes as Dead' will this stop me having to reconnect to dead nodes? IE when power fails node is not marked as dead so when power restarts all be be normal?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, it does not work like this. Simply, you will not be notified about a device becoming a dead node. It will be shown as a normal device but it will be dead anyway.
