Can't connect remote

Hi,

 

for some reason i cant connect remotely to my HClight.

 

I suspect update 4.1, but im not sure.

 

i didnt change anything else to my system or network or router

Did you check that your DNS value under LAN settings are set to 8.8.8.8? I had an issue earlier with this value changing and could not connect remotely by the Fibaro remote service....

did u already restart the HC device?

    im tryin DNS value 8.8.8.8 now, and reboot again.

    that didnt help

     

    changed it back to my own network DNS and restart it again

    Hello,

     

    Does the problem still occur?

    We had a minor issue with servers yesterday. We had difficulties with connecting remotely to some of our gateways.

    Please, check if the issue is still present.

    Yes,

    its for a week now i guess

     

    any i checked about everything

     

    Its working on LAN, and remote worked from the moment i installed the HC lite . it just stopped working.

    I did a port forward to the HC lite, atleast i can connect now from out door.

    Not the way i want it, but for now

    Hello,

     

    Please, contact me via PM. Include serial number and MAC address of your HCL. We will need login and password as well, you can change the password to the gateway temporarily for testing purposes.

    Make sure you opened port 22 as well so one of our engineers will be able to connect to the gateway if needed.

    Yes, I received it and forwarded to our engineers. From what I learned, the issue was passed to the software team. Please, keep the ports open if you can. I will inform you when they will not be needed anymore.

    Great to hear that! Our engineer had to restart one of the services, because it froze. Should the issue occur again, try rebooting the gateway with the button on the box (if you happen to use it let me know if this solution restarts the service properly).
