Dimmer problem

Question

Posted

Hi. I have 4 separate  FGD-212 dimmers installed. Fibaro home center finds 4 dimmers alright, but the master cannot be controlled, 2 of the 3 slaves control the same light for some reason.

I've been trying to reset them all and reinstall them but I always get 1 master + 3 slaves. I want all of them individually controlled, why are they detect as a group?

Not sure why, but each dimmer is detected as 1 master with 3 slaves. This is default behavior.

Also the master, slave xx.0 and slave xx.2 are hidden and should not be used, only use slave xx.1 for light control.

So it is just coincidence that you have four dimmers that you may believe show up as 1x master and 3x slave. In reality you have 1x master and 3x slave for each dimmer.

Hi, Thanks, looks like you are right.

    Problem2 :

no matter what I try, I cant get the other 3 dimmers to connect to the Fibaro system.

I tried holding the B button and released at red, blue, yellow, green light. but they are never found by Fibaro.

one of the dimmers started blinking blue and red(or purple) after I resetted it ,but still no luck.

how the heck shall I add them?
