Hi,

I recently bought 9 switches FGS-222. The problem is I bought UE version, it means 868.4 Mhz. I'm not sure what frecuency is my hc2 but I belive is US version. Can someone tell me how to find the work frecuency of my HC2? And is there any way to change it?

Regards,

Enzo

Hi @Enzo Lopez Labbe and welcome to FIBARO forum!

On the bottom side of the HC2 there should be sticker with some data. I checked my Model type and it is FGHC2.1 - ALU - EU. I believe that this last two letters means that is for EU and it is working on EU z-wave frequency. Can you check your HC and see what model it is?

It's is US frecuency then. So I bought wrong devices!!! Do you know if I can do something to change the frecuency?

    Hi @Enzo Lopez Labbe

I'm afraid that you cannot change frequency without changing z-wave chip. But maybe you can ask supplier where you buy EU modules to replace them?

I'm reading, a guy had the same trouble with a vera device. He used a USB z-wave dongle to change the frecuency. The only problem was He can only work with the dongle frequency.

Someone know if the HC2 supports a USB z-wave dongle?

FIBARO HC2 has its own z-wave chip and does not support any USB z-wave dongles. This z-wave dongle is probably only provided to use with PC-s and some home automation program installed. Besides, I don't think that going this path is good for your system. It is better to sell either HC2 or those 9 switch modules and get suitable ones.
