Hi,

Does anyone have a nice idea how to solve the problem where a flood sensor which is placed under the kitchen sink cabinet goes dead constantly. The only idea I have is that the signals can't go through the drawers I have in the kitchen..

The HC2 is located like 6 meters away from the kitchen.

Hi,

Install the flood sensor with a 12V/24V  2/2.5A  power adapter and you have a Z-Wave repeater !

or install nearby +/-1m of the flood sensor a FIBA wall plug FGWxx-102 ZW5 it's also a Z-Wave repeater !

extra tip for the first time including a new device ,max 1m nearby of the z-wave gateway with min 2h power on

and make a backup before including a new device and after good communication with the new devices a new backup !!!

Good Luck:-)

Regards

Thank you for your reply. I never thought of the repeating technique. Will absolutely look into that. Thanks
