Door scene puts on the lights

Question

Posted

Hi

I'm trying to put together a scene in the HCL. It will work so that when the door is opened, then the lights turned on. But it only works between the time 23:00 to 06:00.
I have tried the following scenes but it does not work. the lights go on even beyond this time. Anyone have any suggestions?

What do you mean with "lights go on even beyond this time"?

When the time is "beyond this time" how is the variable set? Is it INACTIVE? Or simply it never change it?

(one suggestion: never use the name of a variable with the same variable value. Variable=Active and Value=Active. In some software it also create problems)

what I meant was, if the clock is 9:00 so go the lights on which it should not do. the lights will only turn on between 23:00 to 6:00 when the door is opened

still not so clear to help.

how is the variable during the 24 hours? how is it during light on and during light off?
