Vitrum sattelite switch - button disappears, issues with dimming

Question

Posted (edited)

I have a lot of Vitrum sattelite switches. When I sign a Vitrum button to the Fibaro actor dimmer or switch 1x3KW, 2x1,5KW.

I can not sign another Vitrum sattelite button on another location in the house onto the same dimmer or switch actor. The actor dissapears when it's signed the first time to the Vitrum sattelite switch.

That mean I can not turn on/off same dimmers or actor switches on different Vitrum sattelites buttons that are located in different areas in the house.

Another problem is when dimming from Vitrum Sattelites the dimmer dims light down but the dimmer value increase as soon as you release the button on the Vitrum Switch again.

Hope we se a fix soon.

Best Regards from Sweden Mikael H.

Are you using association, the (new) coupling of devices or a scene ? Only when your device is coupled to one other device there are no other couplings possible. All the other possibilities should work though.

P.S.: a bit surprised that you still can use the Vitrium switches. They were on sale here and it was said that the future of the manufactures was in doubt ?

If not a fix per se, at least a work around if I understand you correctly would be to use scenes. I expect you could let a scene be triggered by the state (on/off) of a given Vitrum sw - and then have the scene call the on/off sw (actor). (I have used this setup on MCO Home MH-S314-EU touch panel switches).

Yes it is when I use associations. I get error message 403 access forbidden if a try to do another coupling.

That's a workaround but it's only for on/off it's hard when you want to dim the lamps.
