HC2 totally out of control - SOLVED

[Guest Lode]

This morning alarm went off, it wasn't even enabled.

Lights turned on and off but sirene didn't go of.

Slaves from smokesensors show up in slaves from switches.

Sensors not working, lights turn on and off randomly.

Do I need to go on ?

Turned off HC and went back to 4.100

Now 4.101 is still there, a lot of device are just gone, the buttons to choose another back-up are gone.

What is going on here ????

 

UPDATE !! Got it back, logged in with old admin account and then came back into configuration wizard.

How is that possible ? I was still running 4.101 !

So you are saying that after a reboot the gateway changed software version? Or did you do a recovery to the last stable version? Note that the correct software version will be shown in the Configuration tab.

We have never encounter similar situation so I have no explanation.

As I understand, you are running 4.100 at the moment? Note that there is no Configuration Wizard in 4.100.

No, i was running 4.101 bèta and wanted to restore to 4.100. I did not do a recovery.

When HC started up after restore 4.101 was still there and i could log in with old admin account and did Configuration Wizard.

The gui displayed 4.101 but not 4.101 bèta.

Doing a restore will not change your firmware-version, it will only set back your scenes and devices. To 'go back to 4.100' you do need to do a recovery and then progressively upgrade to the stable version you want and THEN restore your (compatible) backup.

That's what I tried and end up with 503 screen.
