Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I am a newbie to Fibaro and was after some quick advise on wall switches and sockets compatible with the dimmer and on/off modules.

Firstly, can I use the Varilight range of Impulse switches for the dimmer 2 modules?

Secondly, what is the best option for double sockets? I am having an extension built and would ideally like to install USB double sockets all around. Should I use switched sockets together with control switches (spur) and the relay module?

Lastly, can anyone recommend an install for a bathroom fan and Fibaro control option?

Many thanks :)

Wellcome to the forum and Fibaro.

in reply to Firstly:

Wall sockets should have around 60mm depth, generaly the diameter is enough to have them fit in but depth of 40 mm+ would be helpfull. You can wire in pretty much either kind of switch: momentary or toggle. So since the Varlight switches look like buttons it will work.

question Secondly:

I would think that you might be fine with double switch, depending on how manny independent buttons you want to use for controll (each button has to get its own relay contact basically).

thirdly questive: (also lastly question)

Annything 230V (the range is something like 110 -240V) Alternating current + FGS 213? (single relay switch).

I did not intend to just keep writing about same products but there you go. Hopefully it will be at least a little bit helpfull. Feel free to inquire from people smarter and wiser than myselve.
