HCL controlling Philips Hue - Put Commands?

Question

Posted

Hello All,

I've been digging around the forums, looking at lots of information but for the life of me can't crack this one.

I have a number of Philips Hue devices, and using the HCL.

I'm trying to create a virtual device that when I press the 'on' button it will turn A light on.  The Hue now has an API, and using their debugging tool I can easily send:

PUT /api/<username>/lights/1/state

BODY: {"on":true}

How do I do the above in the string field of a Virtual device?

Regards,

Mobbie.
