Question

Posted

Good afternoon.

I was told number of times that HCL can not run LUA and therefore I can not make a simple scene with SONOS:

ALARM deactivated > PLAY MUSIC

ALARM breached > PLAY specific sound

Is there anybody who think that this is possible with HCL? I have managed to play music, set volume via plugin, but I have no idea how to implement sonos to scenes...

I will much appreciate you help!

Thanks,

Adam

hi Adam,

what you should try to do is find the API of Sonos and see if you can play music/sounds by using a virtual device in HCL with http call.

If yes then you can simply manage the VD and its http call by using scenes.
