Dear Colleagues

i have some Switches (FGS212 ) .They had added to HCL before and because we had problem with that HCL we had forced to change HCL.Now the problem is these switched don't reset to add to new HCL . We have done all procedures but we didn't get any response from switches.

Sincerely Yours,

What is distance of those Switches? Do you had them in direct radio visibility for propper exclusion?

What about reset with b-button? This did not work either?

I can only recommend to make reset twice. Sometimes some garbage survive in it if you make reset once.

Yes, correct.

I have some type of this switch in my enviroment, all of this,  purchased used, and then pre-configured for another network. To include them in my system have gone mad, but finally i found a very good procedure:

1) first disables power to the module
2) enabled on your controller HCL or HC2 the inclusion mode with a minimum time of 60 seconds;
3) at the time when connect the power to the module, hold the reset button for a few seconds, then release it.

If it does not work, repeat this procedure several times, pressing the reset button, repeatetly.

Regards

Enrico

To exclude a foreign module: set controller to exclude (delete, with 30s countdown) and press the include (= exclude) sequence on the module. This will reset the module. Simple rule: any controler can exclude any device. If it fails, the module has no direct wireless connection. Either bring them closer together, or look up the reset sequence in the manual.
