into my HC2 by writting a plugin.

According to the

there should be an "Add Plugin" tab on the plugins page in the HC2, but somehow this is missing on my HC2 (see PluginPage.png).

How is it thought to deploy plugins to the HC2?

Hello,

 

I too assumed I could create my own plugins based on what I read in the Fibaro documentation.  After an email to support I was told that the user plug-in feature had been removed due to security concerns but will be implemented in the future. That was about a year ago, so I would speculate that it isnt even on the radar at Fibaro. They are too busy redesigning sensors for Homekit... dont get me started.

 

Hopefully one day we will see Fibaro open this back up again because there is a huge lack of available plug-ins and 80% of theirs don't work anyways.

 

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Maybe someone else knows a hack to install your own plugins?

the hack will work but please do not try and update while that is active... you will lose access to your box!

I think we will be waiting for this feature a couple of years still, if it will be introduced at all. Unfortunately Fibaro does not make money on supporting advanced users.
