Prevent from accidental switching

Question

Posted

Hi,

i am currently using Plugwise but moving to Fibaro, and I have a question

in Plugwise you can prevent a switch to be switched so you only use it for metering power, I cannot find this option with the Fibaro switches/dimmers or wall plug, I do not want to accidentally switch of my fridge for example.

is there an option that I overlooked ?(could find this in the forum therefore stated this new topic)

thanks and merry Christmas

Erik

The Fibaro plugin module has this feature. It's the first one on the list of parameter settings. Not sure I've seen it in any other module though.

Thanks for the replies, i have now added a wall plug and indeed parameter shows, with a "build in" switch this parameter is missing, any ideas ?

As far as I know dimmer and switch modules don't have this option but you can check documentation here
