I have a doubt with this module, in the manual I can read:

Quote

The Switch 2 may operate under the following loads:

• Conventional incandescent light sources,

• Halogen light sources,

• Electrical appliances which power consumption does not exceed the limit for a specified device.

But, What about led lamps? Led lamps it isn't a conventional incandescent light or halogen light.

Is it possible connect led lamps to the fibaro switch?

I was thinking today about the same think.... Why to expirience a welded module, when we all can use Dimmer 2 instead of single or double relays from Fibaro. Just read the manual of the dimmer 2 where you will find that it supports non-dimmable and dimmable halogen, incandecent, CFL, LEDs etc.... I am working on a project right now on which all lights will be energy saving like LEDs and fluorescent light bulbs and the options are: Single relays with inrush protection (those german made); Single relay which will control additional 220v relay which will take the load but that way we can NOT measure the consumption, or the third, more convenient option is Dimmer 2. This topic was discussed before, but there no one mentioned that we can use Dimmer 2?! Any ideas and suggestions guys? We are all open for a discussion.

Not sure I follow you all the way there, but sure. You could use a dimmer 2 instead of a relay, even if off/on is all you actually need. There is a parameter (32 I think) that makes the dimmer behave like an on/off relay instead, if I am reading the manual correctly.  But, please note that the dimmer handless less load than the single relay, which may be a problem in a larger setup. And, I guess the main reason for installing a dimmer rather than the new relays is that you would possibly want to dim lights later instead. If the installation is LED lamps and not a big one, then you may need a bypass installed, and maybe that should then be installed directly to make sure the setup is not perceived badly in the future, but that will then cost more due to the bypass.

So, if I am to understand to as advocating the use of dimmer 2 modules everywhere, I am not sure I agree. There are issues to consider then.
