Hi,

 

I wonder of it's possible to call a scene (made with Hue app or web) in Lua.

i have been looking around but can't find it.

 

Any ideas ?

After firmware version 1.1 Philips moved recalling scenes from groups. I'm still struggling to understand how since explanation on API pages is for experts only. Maybe there is someone here that will answer your question. I will when I find out how.

First i want say that i've been looking through your posts a little bit and i must say the things you made.....impressive !! So i hope you can forgive me that one post you know about....i'm really struggling with that.  (i hadn't been on the forum for a while)

 

My idea behind calling those scenes is that i can use them by sunrise and sunset. (i don't see that the hue app has that possibility ?)

Now i was thinking about a workaround....

E.g.My wife likes the scene "Arctic aurora"

When i hover over the sliders from fibaro gui i can see the values.

So writing down those values and program them all the way up into lua is an option but for me it's not the "proper" way to do that.

I was thinking to read all the values, put them in a table and read when necessary.

What do you think ?
