Motion Sensor stuck on "MOTION" for too long...

Question

Posted

Hey there,

I just installed the Motion Sensor Gen5 in my bathroom to control the light. It reports MOTION to my Zipabox, but then it doesnt report NO MOTION after the 2 minutes delay. Instead it takes up to two hours to report NO MOTION (wake up interval?). What can I do?

See the timing:

I sent the unit back, and ordered a second motion sensor. This one also acts very strange. It sends STATE: MOTION as expected, but than its sending VALUE 7: NO MOTION. And Value 7 is not recognized by my smart home controller, and therefore the light is on for hours...
