Now i know what is wrong. It is in Fibaro export to lua from HCTML. When you see lua line in a scene than you find there this piece of code

instead of

It is bug in Fibaro GUI. Reported via bugzilla.fibaro.com (issue number #4223).

@tinman I was curious about your VD. I tried it and it works on version 4.110. Seems like PUT is little bit broken via API. Also i think i know where plutonium made a mistake. See answer to him below.

@plutonium I do not know what device id you have into Tinmans VD (meaning slave or master device), but when i added Master device ID, then setting of the code worked.

@jakub.jezek thanks for support. So there is no way to actually use keypad in scenes or in any other function in Fibaro HCL? Basically it is useless if I can't use status of keypad (locked/unlocked) lets say for alarms.

Perhaps if I use @tinman VD code?

@plutonium Well, you can do something like that: "if not open".

So instead equal to open, you will change it into not equal.

But the problem is it does not react on any state of the keypad...

Well then it is problem in conversion into a LUA. If your local distributor has tech. support, then send the problem with HTML to lua conversion to him. Fibaro partners have b2b support, so it escalates faster. I will send it as problem for czech.

Please tell me what exact files I should send to him.. I'm now very pissed as I bought device which is on support list (turns out it is not supported) and can't use it.

Send him that .txt file you posted. Then describe him a problem, that RFID device will not get up to value 255. It's gets values 0 and 1 only.

Same way as the code. If you try use non-registered RFID tag, then it should send to your Fibaro unregistered code.

Atleast second RFID tag, that i received, behaved like i wrote.

Hmmm, I guess I have wrong tags then....

I bought RFID tag from local dealer and it works on good frequency, but Zipato keypad is not reading it at all.... How can I give you more info about tag so you can tell me if it is good to use.

Sorry, i know very little about this. Did yourlocal dealer tried some of his tags with Zipato keypad? Maybe is something in Zipato

Please login or register to see this link.

? I know some Zipato products (bulb, keypad, ....) are not much reliable in Fibaro HC, so are baterries ok?

Did you tried to press home/away and then tried your tag? (Sorry, i know this is stupid question, but i have to ask).

I think there is nothing wrong with Fibaro. I think the problem is in tag I have. I guess it is not programmed well, but I dont know how should I program it or how to activate it.

Additional: I have HTC ONE M8 and I installed app called NFC tools that allow reading and writing on RFID tags. When I scan orginal Zipato tag, serial number looks like (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx). When I scan new tag I bought, it looks like (xx:xx:xx:xx). ?

I found on Zipato webpage this:

WORKING FREQUENCY: 13.56MHz.

PROTOCOL:

ISO15693

ISO18000-3

I guess protocol is important for proper function of tag. When I scan my new tags, it says ISO 14443-3A protocol. Looks like it is not compatible.... Frequency is same, thats for sure.

I am having problems including RFiD tags using the Zipato Mini Keypad. I am using the Fibaro HCL and firmware 4.550.

I tried with the REST API DOC / Devices / POSTand {"args": [<userID>, "<RFID code>"]} (the return was 202) as well as with /Scenes / PUT and {"lua": "--[[\n%% properties\n%% events\n%% globals\n--]]\n\nfibaro:call(67, \"setUserCodeDec\", \"1\", \"Occupied\", \"143,92,48,54,141,80,1,4,0,0\", \"name_arg_is_optional\");","html":""} (the return was 200). In both cases it seems everything should work, but when I try the RFiD tag it says ID 67: Unregistered code [143,92,48,54,141,80,1,4,0,0]

Could you (@

) please help. As this topic is already old it might be that something changed with the new firmware.

Is there any other solution to include the RFiD tags in the HCL.

I figured out what was the problem. In the first option I put a written userID insted of a numbr 2, and in second option I put an occupied userID 1 insted of 2. So the Zipato Keypad and its RFiD tags are now working with my HCL. Great!

@Aljaz,

I think it needs synchronization first and then add RFID via API.
