Customizing the "rooms section"

Question

Posted

Is it possible to customize the small icons inside each room's quick top view? see the pic to know what I mean exactly.

It displays temp, motion, humidity, light and few others. For example can I add the heating to it or is it fairly rigid and we cannot change the view? sure I can

change the "controlled device" for the heating switch to "lighting" and that would accomplish the purpose but if I have controlled the lights in that room then

I cant do both.

I would like a top view of each room to quickly see what is on and what is off and not having to go into each room separately to see the status of the heating elements.

One more thing, the list of "controlled device" can be modified? I don't see a "heating" entry.

Hi @dannykay

Unfortunately you can't customise the panel as you suggest.

The only option is to change the categorisation of the devices but as you point out this can lead to other issues

I think this is a limitation that needs to be addressed by Fibaro. It would be extremely useful if one was able to see the status of devices that are to a certain degree user customize-able in each room by just looking at the top rooms panel without drilling down to each room to see whats on and whats not.

For example I personally have no need for the humidity, rolling shutters and alarm... I would rather see air con, heating and TV for the kids bedrooms :-D other users would have different needs. just a thought.
