Just a simple command in tasker but it doesn't work.

 

http://admin:admin@<HC2IP>/api/callAction?deviceID=81&name=turnOn

Make sure using http GET command in tasker:

port:

http://admin:admin@<HC2IP>

path:

/api/callAction?deviceID=81&name=turnOn

 

this works for me

    I hope you can help me out.

    I want to pass a value from a motionsensor to tasker and based on that let tasker do some things.

    And you are not on the new email based username?

    tried ip:80/api/etc ? I think I had the same problem like you a while ago but cant remember how I solved it

    See attachment, I use autoremote (tasker plugin) to get the value's into tasker and there I use(d) KLWP to put it on the screen

    So when i install that plugin i can get the value of a sensor and then let tasker play a sound because that was what i was trying to do.

    yep, create a profile 

    plugin-->: autoremote--> your message --> run task

    I use this to toggle some lights, add the command from your question  (turnOff) to the "if" part and the turnOn to the "else" part.

     

    I.m no coder, I got things working by lots of trail and error and google of course. also had help here on the forum but cant find the threats.

    P.s. at one point I used autovoice to control some actions on the HC2, but my 2 and 4 year old at the time learned the commands and were shouting at the tablet aswell so I had to turn it off haha. (autovoice was set to always listen)
