Heating Panel

Dear all, I would like to ask you for help with heating panel. I have issue to run heating schedule. I have 5 rooms control by Popp radiator valves with temp sensor.

I read this forum that this issue may be still ongoing. Do you have any advice hot to resolve heating panel problem? F.e. make scenes for each room?

Yes I did, 14 scenes with scheduler to control 3 heating zones and all Danfoss valves inside them, 2 to manually control global on/off of two zones from the app, some virtual devices with controls and labels, some variables.

Still to implement the weekend split.

It will not be straight easy if you do not know the system yet and it depends a lot on your heating system design and devices.

Start playing little by little on the technology, design first on paper what you want to get and then go

Thx for advice cause realy I could not alive heating panel yet. I am trying to play with block scene and make trigger scheduler, but no success. It would be nic to help me just with scheduler as a trigger to set radiator valve temperature in desire time.

as said before it is really dependent on the heating system you have. Electrical radiators? Water radiators? Do you have the main heater/boiler or not? ...

 

this is an example that sets a group of danfoss valves to 22 degrees at 05:50 in the morning.

Riscaldamento==attivato is acontrolling variable that I use but for your first tests do not use any variable at all.

Thank you for your block scene, I have tried to create as well. Look at here.

Anyway I have standard water radiator heating with gas boiler. But I have connected as well Hot Water tank to radiator system. I am planning to control boiler with Secure Reley and Hot water tank with switch (hot water tank is operating by pump to feed system of hot water). Hot water tank temperature will be control by temp sensor connected with Fibaro universal sensor module and then either hot water tank or boiler will be switch on/ff based on condition of temperature of hot water tank.

I have installed now 5 heating zones with radiator TRV valve to control heating each room differently.

Just now when I created such scene attached , it is happened that scene did not start automatically (even it is set on automatical). Pls let me know if scene is created well , just for scheduled set of target temperature on radiator valves. in this case I have 2 valves in living room, one with sensor (Popp one) and second one is Danfoss LC13.

I have tried to delete all heating schedules and made once again. OMG suddenly working heating panel correctly. I do not understand why, cause I have set everything same as before. I deleted all scene for target temp. set.

@Radek Slanar, if your example was for Danfoss valves then it is correct.

Strange you have red box in English but not the green ones.

Let us know if your heating panel really works completely and always.

Mine not, but anyhow I have set up a system much better than it, example I manage everything from phone app that you cannot do from panel including vacations setup, global manual overrides, labels with status of zones and manual overrides statuses

Dear Flowy, of course I will monitor heating panel schedules if working correctly or not. Anyway I will grade up my system soon to control boiler and hot water tank soon, then I need may be your support as well.

Dear all,

 

I am going to implement boiler relay for controlling of gas boiler (free voltage contacts - non pontentional) with Secure SSR303 relay. I have set up heating panel (still working OK) and I have 4 heating zones in heating panel. Each zone has temperaturu sensor. My question is if can I make Connection Deveces for each heating zone with 1 boiler Secure relay. F.e 1st zone temp sensor 1 and Secure relay, 2nd zone next connection temp sensor 2 with Secure relay. It means totaly I will have 4 connection of 4 temp sensor with 1 Secure relay. Is that scenario will function and in case of temperature of 1 zone <  settargettemp then relay will be ON, after reaching settargettemp , then relay will be OFF? Does all 4 zones will do the same all time ? means if even 1 zone temp<settargettemp then relay will be ON, end as well if all zones reach settargettemp then relay will be OFF.

Dear all, I have included Horstmann Secure SSR303 relay to system, but when I tried to make Linked Devices - Heating , this device is not shown as switch ON/OFF device. I am not if this is bug or there is not supported function in HCL.

 

Instead of heating panel schedule I tried to make now scene for heating. 1 scene control if any of zone is temp. below set temp. then variable (Heating is) ON .. why variable is that in the future I need to check either boiler will be ON or Hot Water Tank ON (according measured temp.)

2nd scene is to make heating OFF in case of all zones reach required temp. with set schedule.

Could you look at it and let me know if function OK.. for me now OK..I am just testing Boiler relay ON / OFF if any of condition are OK or NG.
