Hi I wonder did any of you bought wifi oven and connect with Fibaro??

In order to connect annything on Wi-Fi protocoll you would need some sort of bridge to be able to include that into Z-Wave (or HUB that can do both).

 

So the question becomes bit more complicated. Annyways you can go check C|net's smarthome appliancess for review of bunch of owens - most of them are unlikely to be sold in Europe but global producers (Samsung, LG, etc.) should make simillar models for our needs.

Either way its good starting point.

I have talked with people of Miele and Siemens. They are working on it but are very afraid, as I understand, for 'unexpected'  situations like

turning on an oven while no ones is at home and perhaps your child might be in the oven.

 

I understand their care for safety but it's sad too see that they retreated their projects.

not all, miele has miele@home

some working with zigbee other devices with wifi

you can read everything through xml file
