LG TV Plugin

Hi.

 

I have a question. I use the LG TV Plugin to control my LG TV from 2014. Everything is working quite good, I can change channels, the volume and more. But it is not possible to switch on or off the TV with the plugin anymore. I know that it worked some time ago. Has anybody an idea??

You cannot turn LG TV on, unfortunately 

all LG devices shutdown TCP/IP TV module and after OFF TV doesnot respond on tcp/ip packets

Hi evrybody! I have a question. I use the LG TV Plugin to control my LG TV from 2015 LG 55EG960V. I push button "request authorization key" for request Authorization code from my TV. But Nothing appears on the TV screen

as for me plugin works OK.

but if you developer you can send to TV IP address this string:

"<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"utf-8\"?><auth><type>AuthKeyReq</type></auth>"

via http POST to "/roap/api/auth" endpoint

your TV shoud show auth code on TV screen.

Russian LG Support declare that household  LG TVs don't support remote control by IP %(

I doubt that developer from Munich, Germany have Russian TV (ha- ha- ha)
